Gender identities play a role in every educational format. In theater, we deal with roles. In this workshop, we will look at methods from Augusto Boal's Theater of the Oppressed in relation to gender. In doing so, we will look at the entanglements of different forms of discrimination. We will focus in particular on the body in order to perceive and understand how social norms relating to our gender identity are inscribed in our bodies, how we have learned about these norms and what these ideas do to us.

For young people, the confrontation with national socialism in Germany is often associated with a feeling of tiredness. At the same time, with the increase of right-wing violence and, at the latest, with the racist murders of Hanau in 2020, the danger of right-wing ideologies is very present. This event will take place in German language.
The aim of this Teamer-Training is to re-examine fundamental questions: What do we mean by political education and what is political? What role do we play as political educators vis-á-vis the participants?

We encounter racism on many levels and in many different forms. Sometimes it is brutal and open, sometimes it is hidden and we hardly recognize it as such. The strengthening of the right-wing populist party AfD as well as the violent attacks in Halle and Hanau are only two facets of the historically grown social power relationship 'racism'. Racism kills!
