Getting down to work? But which one and what is work anyway? This seminartrip is aimed at young people who are in the transition from school to work and are faced with this question. We often have insights into the world of paid work through internships, part-time jobs and the experiences of those around us. But society also paints clear pictures of good work and hard-working people. But what about care work and what does it look like in a meritocracy? In our seminartrip, we will discuss images of the world of work, expectations and what good work could look like for us. We will playfully try out possible steps into the world of paid work, reflect on our previous experiences and ask what it takes to have a good life. In this way, we encourage each other to actively participate in the social processes of shaping work.
