German child and youth welfare Award 2022

The jury of the German Child and Youth Welfare Award 2022 has met and one of our team members was allowed to participate in the decision. This prize – also known as the Hermine Albers Prize – is sponsored by the supreme youth and family authorities of the federal states and awarded every two years by the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Kinder- und Jugendhilfe - AGJ”. The prize is awarded in the categories media, practice, and science by a jury consisting of representatives from journalism, science, authorities, and the practice of child and youth welfare is awarded. This year, Anna Krämer, our civic educator, was also involved in the decision-making process.

The topic of this year's practical award was "digital child and youth work". The aim was to honor projects with a model character for the digital development or expansion of the field.

Of course, we can't reveal who will receive the prize. That will only be announced at the award ceremony at the end of June. But we can say that it was very exciting!
