This year, we once again traveled with the entire ninth grade of IGS Gießen Ost to Weimar to study National Socialism and the continuities of ideologies of inequality.

At the EJBW in Weimar and the memorial site of the former Buchenwald concentration camp, the young people critically examined the traces of National Socialism. The seminar provided space for critical reflection with reference to the students' personal backgrounds and, at the same time, created a place for exchange. This raised awareness of the political responsibility that arises from this.
