Youth Seminar: “Anti-Semitism & Racism: What Does This Have to Do with Me?”
Starts: 29. Juni 2026
Ends: 2. Juli 2026
Kassel
Anti-Semitism and racism are both attitudes that show contempt for humanity and must be considered together. In the daily lives and social environments of young people, however, we repeatedly encounter instances of incompatibility, exclusion, and relativization.
In our four-day seminar, we draw on our experiences, our identities, our group affiliations, and our connections to other people. These provide the basis for discussing diversity, self-attributions and external attributions, and role models. Based on our life paths, needs, and goals to date, we want to discuss what social conditioning means, how communal needs are articulated, and how different needs can be negotiated.
