Dear girls*,

We warmly invite you to the Girls* Empowerment Seminar!

Get ready for four days full of fun, exchanging ideas, and new experiences in a relaxed and safe atmosphere. Together, we’ll discuss topics like self-confidence, identity, racism, and sexism, learn from one another, and develop ideas on how we can support each other and stand up for our interests.

In addition to exciting workshops, you can look forward to music, games, dancing, delicious food, and plenty of time to make new friends.

When? From October 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. to October 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.

Where? Bildungsstätte Alte Schule Anspach, basa

Schulstraße 3, 61267 Neu-Anspach

Who? Girls* and young women* of color and with a migration background, ages 14 to 18

Participation fee: Free of charge. Accommodation and meals are included

The seminar will take place at the basa e.V. conference house. No other groups will be staying at the center during these days. Sleeping and restrooms will be used exclusively by the participating girls*.

Four days full of new ideas, discussion, and shared experiences await you. Since the content builds on each other, we ask that you plan to attend all four days of the seminar.

Participants are responsible for their own travel to our conference center.
