Our understanding of Civic Education
We want to discuss current and challenging socio-political issues. To this end, we organize workshops, seminars and conferences for young people and trainers. We are guided by emancipatory values and advocate for democracy and self-determination in our work. We take a diversity-sensitive, power- and domination-critical view. For this reason, we are constantly developing new concepts, approaches and methods.
We see ourselves as a positioned institution of civic education. With our critical civic education work, we aim to support young people and enable them to organize themselves and strengthen their skills. A grassroots democratic understanding of politics is the basis of our work. We want to convey that a society is possible in which everyone can participate.
We want to promote the discussion of social issues beyond imposed constraints and explore concrete emancipatory possibilities for action. The question of how we can further develop a democratic society is a daily challenge for us.
